Shoulder pain are often caused by activities that requires repetitive motions like tennis, weightlifting, golfing, and swimming. It can arise from the shoulder joint itself or from any of the many surrounding muscles, ligaments or tendons. Shoulder pain that comes from the joint usually worsens with activities or movement of your arm or shoulder.

Common causes of Shoulder Pain
Frozen Shoulder
Frozen shoulder is a condition that affects your shoulder joint. It usually involves pain and stiffness that develops gradually, may worsen over time and then finally goes away usually within a few years.
Rotator Cuff Tear
Rotator cuff injuries are common and increase with age. These injuries may occur earlier in people who have jobs that require repeatedly performing overhead motions, such as painters and carpenters.
Bursitis
Bursitis usually occurs when the small fluid-filled sac supporting the shoulder joint is inflamed or irritated. Symptoms can include pain on the tip of the shoulder, pain when rotating your arm, or pain when lying on the shoulder.
