CHRONIC
PAIN

Chronic or persist pain is pain that carries on for more than 3 months despite medication or treatment. It can lasts for months or years and can happen in any part of the body, joints or muscles. Sometimes chronic pain can begin without any obvious cause. But for many people, it starts after an injury or because of a health condition. 

Some of the symptoms includes:

  • Dull Ache in different parts of your body

  • Throbbing pain down hands or legs

  • Stiffness/soreness in more than one joint of your body

  • Difficulty sleeping due to persistent pain

  • Inability to perform daily functional tasks

  • Disc Injury
    A disc works almost like a shock absorber, but over time they can become worn or damaged. Symptoms of a disc-related injury might include a loss of mobility in the neck, numbness into your shoulder or arm, and weakness in your neck.
  • Stiff Neck
    Difficulty moving the neck sideway without turning the entire body. It may also be accompanied by a headache, neck pain and shoulder pain or arm pain. In most cases, pain and stiffness go away naturally within a week.
  • Whiplash
    Whiplash injury occurs when there is a sudden jolt to the head and neck in any accident that may cause a forceful back-and-forth motion. Motor vehicle accident is the most common cause behind the whiplash injury, but can also happen in sports or other trauma.

Assess

Based on our assessment findings, we will design and prescribe an individualized exercise program targeted towards solving your problem. Our therapists will educate and guide you on your journey to recovery and self management.
